Sterling battling racial abuse and fake news

Raheem Sterling has stood against the racist slur he got in Manchester City’s match with Chelsea in December and scrutinized the rationale behind the wrong and deceiving stories encompassing his own life.

Four Chelsea fans were seen making racial remarks towards Sterling when he was going to take a corner in the match at Stamford Bridge, with one of them seeming to be racist.

Each of the four were suspended by Chelsea and police have opened a probe

Sterling posted a reaction on Instagram the following day where he asserted that the media are inclined to treating youthful black footballers contrastingly to white ones.

In a meeting with The New York Times, Sterling reviewed the experience and says he didn’t accept what he was hearing at the time.

“I was tuning in to hear what they were stating. Nah, that can’t be what I heard.”

The 24-year-old, who is again featuring in another enormously effective season for Manchester City, demands that the media’s impression of him as a ‘garish’ individual has dependably been an off base one.

“From the very beginning of my vocation, there has been a view of a conspicuous child from London: cherishes autos, adores the garish way of life,” Sterling included.
