Police commemorate a ‘New Dawn’ of ‘Utumishi kwa wote’ kwa ‘Uaminifu na Haki’

The National Police Service on Monday commemorated its ‘New Dawn’ over the past four years of refurbishment.

The Police Service posted a message from Inspector General Joseph Boinnet, who cited the various milestones police have made under their Police modernization programme.

A publication on the NPS website further mentioned police strides towards “a friendlier People Centered Police Service”.

It also cited the development of a new training curriculum, provision of better and increased police equipment, better staff care, transparency and accountability measures to the public among other measures geared towards helping the Police execute their mandate. 

“The Inspector General has been on record in as many times that the changes being witnessed are aimed at making the National Police Service a People Centered world class Police Service that is Utumishi kwa Wote and offers its services Kwa Uaminifu na Haki.” the publication read.
