Pilot of crashed plane had over 200 hours of flight

The pilot who flew the crashed Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 business plane had huge experience. The carriers Group CEO Tewolde Gebremariam has affirmed.

In his explanation that went before the pivotal Sunday morning occurrence, Mr Gebremariam clarified foundation of the pilots while sending his sympathy to the families of 157 people who died in the accident.

While giving brief report about the accident, he said in the explanation that the Ethiopian-born Kenyan pilot Capitan Yared Mulugeta Gatechew, was experienced and had been working since November 2007.

“A senior Captain named Yared Gatechew with a combined flight hour of more than 8,000 and with a praiseworthy act was ordering the trip along the main officer Ahmed Nur Mohammod Nur who had a flight hour of 200,” his announcement read mostly.

The Group supervisor further expressed that there was no reason to get excited over the security of the plane, as it had been energetically adjusted only multi week prior.

“The slammed B-737-800MAX plane flew back to Addis from Johannesburg at the beginning of today to one more flight bound to Nairobi, experienced a thorough check upkeep in January 4, 2019.” He further added.at 8.38am, without further ado leaving Bole Airport.
