This Is Why We Don’t Know ‘Blanket’, Mj’s Youngest Son

The Jackson estate have kept Michael Jackson ‘s youngest son Blanket out of the public eye ever since his father’s death in 2009.

Now in the wake of the explosive documentary Leaving Neverland, the 17-year-old is reportedly “devastated” by the latest allegations from Wade Robson and James Safechuck and has “stopped talking”, according to his co-guardian TJ Jackson.

It’s thought to be causing concern for the family who have kept a close eye on the youngster as he’s grown up, in the care of his grandmother Katherine , 88, and TJ, 40.

While his siblings Paris and Prince have enjoyed time in the spotlight, Blanket, who’s real name is Prince Michael Jackson II, has been kept hidden away

It’s thought that the teen, who attends private school, is banned from social media with his image and profile tightly vetted before any pictures are released.

His sister Paris, 20, shared her own worries about her younger brother back in 2017 when she allegedly said he’d been “left to his own devices” at his grandmother’s mansion in Calabasas, eating chocolate and junk food for dinner.

Paris has been able to carve out a career as a model posting thousands of photos on her Instagram page, however just one snap of her younger brother appears.

Blanket was given the nickname by his famous father who was inspired by character Linus in the Peanut cartoon; but now prefers to be known as Biji because he was bullied at school for the unusual moniker.

He famously made his debut when Michael dangled him over a third-floor hotel balcony in 2002, but since then he’s shied away from any public exposure.

With Blanket being kept away from mainstream life, Mark has questioned whether this will prepare him for the fallout from the controversial documentary.

He revealed: “They try and shield him from the outside world, which may be not such a good thing. Shield them from certain things, certainly, but to keep him isolated is not right.”

Mark also believes that Blanket’s life is being tightly controlled by the Jackson family thanks to the billion-dollar trust and that they don’t want him “making money for anyone else”.

“When you get super-wealthy you become very guarded and very mistrustful of a lot of people. It’s just sad that this money issue would get in the way of them actually being able to have good friends.”
