Kenyan politician and advocate of social justice Martha Karua has today warned the youth against joining the looting band wagon.
Karua was giving her advise to the youth as she was speaking during the people dialogue festival.
The Female politician says that i n history it is the youth who drive the revolution and although the leaders of the revolution may be older the people who go all the way out to take action are the youth.
She also insisted that what Kenya needs today is a revolution.Martha Karua also added that the nature of revolution needed should be guided by the constitution which we bargained for and have today.
Martha Karua emphasized that the revolution should also be the kind that will bring gender inclusion, total inclusion so that youth may be included to be part of decision making.
She however mentioned that revolution cannot occur if the youth will get an opportunity and decide to join the looting band wagon.
Martha Karua maintained that it cannot happen if they youth get the slightest opportunity and start oppressing others.
She encourage the youth that any initiative they take up to impact change has to be value driven in order to succeed.
