Mudavadi condemn JKIA takeover, asks government to give closure on the takeover

The leader of Amani National congress party Musalia Mudavadi has now come out to condemn the JKIA takeover.

The vocal leader now wants the government to come out clean and give closure on the deal for KQ to take over JKIA.

His remarks come a day after The Kenya Airport Workers Union (KAWU) disrupted flights at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

While speaking to press Mudavadi said that Kenyans are very keen on the management of the facility. He also said that the citizens of this nation have already lost confidence in the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“The government is now trying to merge the Kenya Airports Authority and the Kenya Airways in a highly opaque and suspicious manner,” said Mr Mudavadi

He further said that the people of Kenya are tired of poor leadership and time has come for them to rise up.

He also said that his party is concerned with the way the government averted the strike of the workers. Government was forced to deploy Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) to the airport to calm the situation.
