After two days of thorough grilling the DCI is ready to prosecute the Treasury Cabinet Secretary.
According to an anonymous police officer, the DCI has now found enough evidence to press charges against CS Rotich for failure to safe guard public funds.
Rotich is one of the high ranking governmernt individual who were mentioned in the loss of Ksh 21 billion which was meant for the construction of Arror and Kimwarer dams saga.
Next week, DCI investigators plan to summon senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture for questioning over the same matter.
The DCI has summoned 107 companies, including 27 directors, to record statements overpayments they received concerning the two projects in Elgeyo Marakwet county this including Deputy President close ally Amb Ken Osinde.
