Raila Renews War with Ruto at the Devolution Conference

Corruption was again the main talking point at the Day two of the 6th Devolution Conference at the Kerinyaga University.

This time, it was time for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to take the podium and address delegates. And he used his time to launch a scathing attack on Deputy President William Ruto over the Arror and Kimwarer Dams Scandals.

“If we are talking about the theft in the dams project, don’t come and tell us it was not Sh20 billion, it was only Sh7 billion. Let the investigating authorities complete their investigations. Who are you to tell us? How did you know?” Raila posed.

Last week, Ruto publicly denied that at least 21 billion shillings had been lost in thin air in the scandal that is turning out to be very embarrassing.

“It is a flat lie, the money in question is Sh7 billion and for every coin that has been paid, we have a bank guarantee, no money will be lost because we are a responsible Government, we have engaged all arms of the Government to ensure that public resources are safe,” said the DP.

Now we are just waiting for Oscar Sudi, Ruto’s main attack weapon to respond to Baba.
