Manchester United assistant boss Mike Phelan is eyeing another memorable Champions League comeback in Paris.
United trail the French champions 2-0 from the first leg at Old Trafford and face an uphill battle to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Solskjaer is without as many as 10 first team players for the encounter with the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all missing.
The Norwegian has had to turn to United’s youngsters to make up his squad but the Red Devils will be targeting an upset.
Phelan sent a message to United supporters on Tuesday night as United trained in Paris.
“I seem to remember this great football club Manchester United  coming from behind before,” Phelan tweeted.
“Final training session .. bring it on.”
Unsurprisingly, United fans loved the post as they reflected on some great Champions League comebacks.
The Red Devils famously scored twice late on in the 1999 final against Bayern Munich, after an impressive comeback against Juventus in the semi-final.
Solskjaer scored the last-gasp winner in the final in Barcelona  from the bench, shortly after Teddy Sheringham’s equaliser.
Phelan joined United in the same year before stepping up as first-team coach in 2001. He was later made assistant boss shortly after the 2008 final victory over Chelsea.
On United’s approach to the clash, Solskjaer said: “Itâs never mission impossible,â said Solskjaer. âItâs more difficult, but weâve got to get the first goal and then anything can happen.
âSuddenly, goals always change games and if we get the first one weâll be believing even more and they might start doubting themselves, but itâs important we get the first one.
âYou can say that [thereâs no pressure on United] because weâre 2-0 down, but weâll never approach any game as a lost cause.”
