GSU anti-riot officers have used force to disrupt a crowd at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as business at the airport comes to a standstill following the strike.
An amateur video doing round in social media shows the GSU engaging the public and people some of them in red, suggesting they could be KQ cabin crew.
Despite Kenya Airports Authority declaring the strike suspended, all flights to and from JKIA have been grounded.
The Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) members
downed their tool on Wednesday.
The pass issuance, security screening, and
waiting areas have been with thousands of passengers stranded outside.
Worse still, fire engines on the airside have been withdrawn making it impossible for planes to land or take off.
