In so many ways we could emulate the Royal family. They are superior, we have to agree but nothing much can be done about it, we found it that way. The British Royal Family has had enough and is coming for you. The Royal Family has unveiled a set of guidelines on social media use to help create a safe environment on accounts they run which include The Royal Family, Clarence House and Kensington Palace on facebook and twitter.

This comes amidst an increase of online trolling towards the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge. The two in the recent past have come under attack for anything and everything they do/ wear. The Royal Family further makes it clear their social media accounts “reserve the right to hide or delete comments made on our channels, as well as block users who do not follow these guidelines.” They will also not hesitate to send any comments they deem appropriate to law enforcement authorities for investigation as they feel necessary or is required by law.

Part of the statement reads, “The aim of our social media channels is to create an environment where our community can engage safely in debate and is free to make comments, questions and suggestions. We ask that anyone engaging with our social media channels shows courtesy, kindness and respect for all other members of our social media communities.”

The trolling has gotten so bad that even the always perceived nasty British media has been urging the public to tone down their inappropriate criticisms and trolls of the two members of the royal family.
