Environment CS Keriako Tobiko has saluted Nameless’ daughter Tumiso and team for a grand initiative.
Tumiso and her cousins started an initiative to help
conserve, restore and nurture the environment.
They named their team Kijani Gang and through this initiative they managed to bring more young people to join the movement.
Their different initiatives caught the attention of the
minister of Environment CS K. Tobiko who invited them to engage with his full
team.
Kijani gang recently adopted a school in Kiserian to help
them become a green school that adopts the culture of conservation as they
continue to plant trees at every opportunity they get including family
gatherings.
The team has used their talent and art to create awareness on environmental conservation.
Nameless shared an Instagram post saying that he is indeed proud that his daughter is part of this initiative.
He was also impressed by the fact that the youth got an opportunity to confidently presented their vision, mission, achievement, challenges, and questions to the government.
