DP Ruto is not a culprit in the dam scandal case, says MP Ngunjiri

Vocal Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has comeout in defence of Deputy President William Ruto’s in the dam scandal case that has brought uproar in the country.

According to the vocal MP, the Deputy President is been fix in the corruption allegation by his political enemies for are considering to bar him from running in the 2022 general election.

While speaking in a TV interview MP Ngunjiri said,”ODM lawmakers are spreading propaganda about DP Ruto who is innocent. Let those who have stolen money be arrested. Finance Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich has spoken on how the money was allocated for the construction of the dam and therefore, I’m appealing to leaders to start looking for the lost money from there.”

In addition to his statement he said,”Ruto’s rivals are out to spread propaganda so that they can divert minds of Kenyans from voting for DP Ruto. It is time we should stop blaming Ruto in every corruption allegation which arises in this country.”

Ngunjiri’s sentiments came a week after DCI Kinoti named influencial people involved in the dam scandal where Ken Osinde and othger heads of parastals were named and are sid to be DP Ruto’s allies.

A amount totaling upto Ksh 68 million has been reported missing, however DP Ruto has since refuted claims saying that the money in question is Kes 7billion which the government can account for.
