Chief Justice David Maraga

Chief Justice David Maraga will have to defend himself against a suit in which the judiciary has been accused of improper planning.

Nakuru based lawyer Elvis Nanda has accused the CJ and the Judicial Service Commission JSC of poor planning of judicial events.

Maraga now wants the case suspended saying that it is a waste of judicial time since all the courts are run according to the law.

Through his lawyer Isaac Wamaasa, Maraga says that the juduciary events are always communicated to the public.

“Judicial education was not done in an emergency manner and not as alleged and the Law Society Of Kenya was invited but never honoured the invitation.
