Lightning attack in a Western school shortly after leaders call for help in installing arrestors

Barely 24 hours after Kakamega leaders asked the government to help theom arrest lightnings, ten of learners from St. Brigid’s Nangwe in Bungoma are nursing injuries after an attack.

The incident led to a stampede, which affected a total of 50 students. Most of the students were discharged.

The incident sent a wave of fear among the students who have now been prescribed to counselling to help them overcome the outcome of the incident.
