Uhuru even came under scathing attack from two MPs and a governor who asked him to tell Kenyans if he does not want to retire in 2022.

Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa said Uhuru is behaving like a hyena who has turned to feast on his own children.

Kapseret’s Oscar Sudi claimed Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga want to use their handshake to block DP William Ruto from ascending to power in 2022.

“I want to tell Raila. We accepted the handshake, but now we know what it meant. Uhuru should tell us what they are scheming with Raila. If he doesn’t want to go home in 2022, let him tell us,” Sudi said.

He said that Rift Valley residents are tired of political schemes behind the handshake. “We are tired and you will get what you are looking for soon. Ruto has his own people and they are not foolish. Ruto has been patient enough,” Sudi said in Kipkenyo, Eldoret.

He said Uhuru and Raila were using the graft war to harass innocent Kenyans, especially those allied to Ruto.

“If Uhuru agrees with Raila and the liars that billions of shillings have been stolen in the government, then he should dissolve government so that we elect other leaders,” the Kimilili legislator said.

Barasa said Bungoma people did not back Uhuru in the last elections because they liked him.

“We voted for him because of DP William Ruto, but we are now tired because people who were out there are now the ones causing confusion in government.”

The MP said the war on graft was being used to target Ruto allies, but the DP’s supporters are ready to be arrested and prosecuted.

“You can stop anything else including a volcano from erupting but you will not stop the desire of hustlers and poor Kenyans to install William Ruto to State House,” Barasa added.

RUTO’S LOVE FOR DAMS NOW PUTS HIM TO WAR WITH MUDAVADI

Is Deputy President William Ruto out to hide something with regards to the ongoing probe into the alleged millions lost to the various Dam scandals that have rocked the Nation lately?

Well, Ruto has been on the defensive end with the DP apparently angry with a number of Investigative agencies led by the DCI for failing to conduct proper investigations into a number of scandals that have recently rocked the Country.

The DP has particularly been angered by the fact that the said figures lost in the various Dam scandals have been exaggerated.

For Instance, Ruto insists that only 7 billion was lost in the Arror and Kimwarer dam scandal. This comes even as the DCI insists that the money is 7 billion shillings.

Ruto’s apparent defence of corruption has not gone well with ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi who has called out the DP for interfering with the work of Investigative agencies.

According to Mudavadi, Ruto has admitted there is a problem, but is now debating on the quantum of the problem.”

Mudavadi accused Ruto of intimidating DCI George Kinoti by trying to imply he is not doing his job professionally.

“Why not allow the investigative agencies to do their job? Why is DCI George Kinoti and the EACC calling people, demanding documents associated with this project?” he asked. The ANC boss spoke to reporters after a church service at JCC Parklands.

Yesterday, Mudavadi said Ruto’s remarks were a sign that ‘somebody somewhere is beginning to panic’ adding that “by implication, the sentiments are showing that someone doesn’t want the DCI to work independently.”

“We should allow the DCI and the EACC to do their job. They are trained to do it, the politician is trained to talk not do the investigative work. Why are people nervous?” he said.
