Moses Kuria Decry’s Lack of National Cohesion as Mt. Kenya United Goes Down 6-0 to Kakamega Homeboyz

The Kenya Premier League season continued on Saturday with a number of Matches going down at different match venues across the country.

The match of the day was between Mount Kenya United against Kakamega Homeboyz where the latter won 6-0 to avenge the 6-1 loss suffered in the reverse fixture last year.

One of the people who was hardly hit with the bitter loss is Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who also adds up as Mt. Kenya United’s Patron.

After the match, Kuria decried the loss in a sarcastic manner with the ever vocal lawmaker saying that Kakamega Homeboyz should have atleast exercised some National Cohesion and Fairness.

“Our beloved Mt Kenya United lost 6-0 to Kakamega Homeboyz. I thought we are all committed to national cohesion and fairness . Really ?” posed Moses Kuria.

In other matches, Tusker FC recorded their second defeat in as many games after falling 1-0 away against Nzoia Sugar on Saturday.

The brewers had suffered a 1-0 defeat to the defending champions Gor Mahia on Wednesday and they needed maximum points against a relatively easier side in Nzoia.

Erick Kapaito returned into the score sheet for Kariobangi Sharks as they won 2-0 against visitors Chemelil Sugar.
