Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne had set his eyes on England’s League Two Kenyan footballer David Sesay, to be part of his provisional squad.

Migne named his squad to face Ghana in the final Group F match of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Egypt 2019 qualifiers and included the 20-year-old Sesay.

According to Daily Mail (UK), Sesay, who is under West Bromwich Albion’s radar, is grateful for the interest shown but wants to focus on his club at the moment.

The Crawley Town defender is more keen on staying in England to help his club that is in danger of landing in the relegation zone.

Kenya’s game against Ghana will be held at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, March 22. That will be just two days before Crawley face Lincoln in a crucial fixture where gaining maximum points would help them stave off the drop zone.

Sesay learned his trade under the very experienced and well established Watford academy and West Brom will cough out about KSh 46.2 million for the Kenyan.
