Over a long period of time, Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has been engaging bitterly with former sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
The duo’s rivalry escalated over Deputy President Dr William Ruto, with them accusing each other of betrayal.
Last year, Echesa who is Ruto’s close ally was accused of organising a photoshop of Malala, which portrayed him being naked in a room with a lady.
The matter took to Court, but due to a high profile Echesa was holding against Malala, the case died on arrival.
Malala has however continued to accuse Echesa of sycophancy and distress to the entire Luhyia nation following his incompetency.
His wish might have just been granted! On Friday, President Uhuru Kenyatta reshuffled his cabinet, which did not favour Echesa.
Echesa was fired and his docket handed over to ambassador Amina Mohamed who has been holding Education docket. Her former docket was overtaken by Prof George Magoha.
