Ahead of their clash against Southampton on Saturday 2nd March, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. A

Martial picked up a groin injury in the 2-0 loss to Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League while Rashford picked up a knock in the barren draw against Liverpool last weekend but came on in the 77th minute for Alexis Sanchez in the 1-3 win over Crystal Palace.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the clash against Southampton, Solskjaer provided an injury update on the duo, “He (Rashford) still felt it Wednesday night but he’ll be ready I’ll probably start him.

It’s the last session today but we’re not going to take any risks, maybe Anthony, but it might just be a few more days before he’s ready so probably the squad will look similar to what it did at Wednesday.”

Manchester United are currently 5th on the Premier League table, one pint behind 4th placed Arsenal who play Spurs in the North London Derby.
