Under-fire Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri in search for redemption as Blues host Spurs in London Derby

Chelsea Vs Tottenham Hotspurs

The under fire Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will be hoping so redeem his glory as his side host Tottenham Hotspurs in a London derby clash at the Stamford Bridge.

This will go down as the toughest fixture tonight as the Blues fight for the top four spot while Spurs will continue to battle for the Premier League title.

The tie comes after Chelsea lost 4-3 to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, February 24, inflicting more pressure on Maurizio Sarri who’s rumoured to be at risk of losing his job.

Sarri is yet to decide on whether to include goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in his squad tonight after the Wembley bust-up as he refused to be substituted. Chelsea will miss the services of Danny Drinkwater and captain Gary Cahill who are all injured.

Tottenham enter the clash after a shock 2-1 defeat at Burnley on Saturday, February 23. But despite that, Spurs remain the best team away from home so far having won 11 games and lost one.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side was boosted after their key striker Harry Kane returned from injury netting in the defeat against Burnley. Spurs miss the services of Englishman Eric Dier who has an illness and his counterpart Dele Alli who’s recovering from a hamstring injury.
