From men pretending to be Uhuru in conning business men being connected lots of fake gold and billion currencies nabbed to Uhuru’s deputy president being associated with friend involved in mega dam scandal and brutal murder of 15 year old Eastleigh girl search for justice,criminal minds have shaken Kenya.

‘UHURU’ CON MEN’

Seven men accused of using President Uhuru Kenyatta’s name to con Sameer Group Chairman Naushad Merali Sh10 million were finally released after three days in custody.

Joseph Waswa, Duncan Muchai, Isaac Wajekeche, William Simiyu, David Luganya, Gilbert Kirunja and Anthony Wafula denied the charge of conspiracy to defraud the businessman and asked the magistrate to release them on bail pending trial.

The suspects have challenged the prosecution to produce president Uhuru Kenyatta in court as a witness.

FAKE CURRENCY AND GOLD

Police bust a house linked to seven suspects who impersonate President Uhuru Kenyatta with 8 billion in fake currency and gold.

According to detectives, two people were arrested after police impounded the money which was stashed in boxes in a house in Ruiru.

RUTO AND AIDE CORRUPTION

An aide to Deputy President William Ruto has been roped in the Sh21 billion dam scandal which is under active investigations by Kenyan authorities.

Ken Osinde is on the DCI radar after a company he is associated with is suspected to have played a role in the multi-billion tenders for construction of Kimwarer and Arror dams in Elgeyo Marakwet.

Deputy President William Ruto’s Chief of Staff Ken Osinde has sternly dismissed reports linking him to the KSh 21 billion Kimwarer and Arror dams scandal.

The DP’s aide further demanded an apology from a section of the media which published stories implicating him in the scandal lest he files a defamation suit.

15 YEAR OLD EASTLEIGH MURDER

Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of a 15-year-old girl who was living with her aunt in Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate.

According to police, it is believed that the girl was tortured to death as her body had deep cuts on the thighs,  forehead as well as burns suspected to have been caused by acid.

Police say they received a tip from a mosque in South C estate where the girl’s body had been taken for cleaning and prayers ahead of burial in line with Islamic traditions.
