Pellegrini’s Hammers set to stop City’s lethal weapon Aguero in EPL Clash

Manuel Pellegrini will make his first Etihad return since his sacking by the Citizens in 2016 as his side West Ham pay a visit to Manchester City.

The Citizens have scored 49 Premier League goals at home so far this season and their 13 home wins makes them the only team to win many home matches this season.

The Hammers will be trying to stop Manchester City’s lethal weapon Sergio Aguero who has netted 14 goals at the Etihad out of his 17.

Pep Guardiola’s side will lack the services of Alymeric Laporte, Claudio Bravo and Brazilian Fernandinho who are out due to injuries.

West Ham have lost nine of their ten of their competitive matches against Manchester City. The Hammers will be without Winston Reid, Jack Wilshere, Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmalenko who are nursing injuries.
