Boinnet to work closely with IPOA to improve working conditions of police officers

Inspector General Joseph Boinnet has today pledged to work with the
Independent Policing Oversight Authority Board to improve the working conditions for Police officers.

This comes after Boinnet held discussions with the IPOA Board led by the Chairperson Mrs. Anne Makori who visited the National Police Service headquarters today.

The Inspector General revealed that they discussed ways of enhancing good relations between the Service and the Authority that is aimed at improving the quality of policing services provided to the public.

The also also pledged to jointly explore ways of enhancing accountability, as well as improving the working conditions for Police officers.
