Four suspects, among them a lady, have been accused of killing human rights dissident Carol Mwatha Ochieng.

Ms Betty Akinyi Nyanya, Mr Michael Onyonka Onchiri, Mr Richard Ramoya and Mr Alexander Gitau Gikonya were charged on Wednesday at the High Court in Nairobi.

They were not required to argue to the charge as three of the suspects did not have an attorney.

Judge Stella Mutuku decided the case to be referenced on March 4 for the charged to take supplication.

The presumes will likewise be taken for mental tests to build up in the event that they are fit to stand preliminary.

The suspects told the court that they will connect with legal counselors to safeguard them.
