The leader of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Miguna Miguna, has got the tongues of the two biggest people in the country wagging after he urged Kenyans to not waste time listening to politicians who are singing like a choir for a referendum!
In a series of tweets, the exiled lawyer said that leaders pushing for a referendum, among them former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta are doing so for their selfish gains before 2022.
The main problems facing Kenya are not caused by the Constitution, laws, institutions, the presidential system or devolution. He told Kenyans to focus on the real problems they are facing, such as poverty and unemployment, and come up with ways in which they can alleviate their lives, and not the political quibbles that the elite have in the country!
