The rainy season is here and the county government of Nairobi has started embarking on measures to curb drainage complications due to heavy rains.
The unclogging of drainage system has started in all 85wards in order to improve the flow of water and holding capacity.
Through a Facebook Live, Governor Mike Sonko shared the ongoing process in Juja Road.
“Watu Wangu Hapa ni Juja Road and as we approach the rainy season, the Nairobi City County Government has started unclogging the drainage system, even as we put in place measures to mitigate effects of the heavy rains.
