How Indiscipline might Dearly Cost Gor Mahia in CAF CC

Gor Mahia host Algerian side Hussein Dey in a tough CAF Confederations Clash on Sunday.

But they will have to do so without the services of dependable centre back Joash Onyango. Onyango is suspended for the match after accumulating many yellow cards.

“Joash Onyango is suspended for accumulative yellow cards and will thus not be involved but the rest of the squad remains the same.” The clubs CEO
Omondi Aduda confirmed.

This is not the first time that Joash has been suspended. He missed three matches in the competition after CAF suspended him and Haron Shakava for indiscipline.

Image result for Tuyisenge

In last week’s match against Atletico’s Petro Atletico, Gor missed the services of Jacques Tuyisenge and Philemon Otieno who were also suspended by CAF.

They went ahead and lost the match 2-1. The scoreline would have been different if Tuyisenge had been in the squad.

Coach Hassan Oktay should address this before it costs them dearly.
