Man, 30 years arrested & Positively identified by 3 victims of robbery with violence in Kerciho Murder

One suspect has been arrested in connection to a notorious gang responsible for hacking to death a 73-year-old woman, and sexually assaulting her three granddaughters and housemaid, on Wednesday, February, 20th in Litein, Kericho county.

The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and positively identified by three victims of the attack, DCI boss George Kinoti said on Thursday.

The gang of four armed with crude weapons broke into their Litein house, injured a 78-year-old man and killed his wife aged 73.

”The men also robbed them of an unknown amount of money and sexually assaulted their grand granddaughters three girls aged 11, 13 and 20 years, positively identified the man after an identification parade was conducted,” Kinoti said.

During the incident, both the husband and the house help were hit with a blunt object and are nursing serious injuries at the Litein Hospital.
