Kenyan Player Based in Sweden Wants to join Harambee Stars. Tells Coach to Come Get Him!

Chris Mbamba, a Sweden player with roots from Kenya has publicly told the Harambee Stars coach to draft him in the national team for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations that will be held in Egypt.

The 26-year-old who currently plays for the Swedish team Oskarshamns AIK says he will be more than happy to grasp the opportunity to be included in the National team.

Born in Zimbambwe, Mbamba is the product of a Namimbian father and a Kenyan mother, who holds a passport of Kenyan orgin, hence making him elgile for selection.

He relocated to Sweden with his family at a young age, and hence, has received his football education there.

Here’s what he said if selected:

“If I were to represent Kenya I would contribute with speed, technique, my ability to push forward and create chances. Off the pitch, I am easy to get along with, social and like to inspire those around me so I think it would be great both for me and Kenya,” he told Nairobi News.
