Differing opinions still continue to erupt as the heat on corruption cases intensifies.

Deputy President Dr. William Ruto’s case on Weston Hotel land has taken yet another twist after his ally stepped in his defence to stop him from paying for the land in question.

City lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, who represented former Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi in gubernatorial petition has accused Supreme Court judges of receiving bribes from incumbent Wajir Governor Muhammad Abdi.

Talking in a TV interview on Wednesday, Ahmednassir stated that he will file a petition to have four Supreme court judges ousted over corruption allegation that ruled the case in favor of the respondent.

However, he held a different opinion on a case involving Ruto who had agreed to pay for Weston Hotel land.

The flamboyant lawyer defended DP Ruto not to pay for the contentious Weston Hotel Land since he acquired it according the law.

Through a tweet, fierce Miguna Miguna slammed Ahmednassir statements terming him as an incompetent lawyer.

The man is not even a qualified advocate. He never completed his pupillage. He cannot write, read, comprehend or speak coherently. @ahmednassirlaw is one of the worst con-men in Kenya. After the revolution, we will register him to adult classes at Kamiti. #SayNoToUjinga— Dr. Miguna Miguna (@MigunaMiguna) February 21, 2019
