The National Resistance Movement has endorsed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to be its front runner for the presidential candidate of Uganda in the year 2021. If president Museveni wins the elections in 2021 he will have ruled over Uganda for a period of 40 years when his term ends.

One of his opponents in the next polls could be singer and lawmaker Bobi Wine, whose real name is Robert Kyagulanyi, who has rattled officials with his fast-growing support base.
