Kenyan female artist Akothee has treated her parents to a special vacation following her performance in Watamu over the weekend.
The Singer expressed her appreciation saying that her parents have been supportive to her career and her music journey.
Akothee has been in the music industry for years and despite the hardships, she is currently among the top earning female artists. She also hinted that her mother might have been resistance but somehow they all became a team.
Akothee pulled a very epic performance that has left Kenyans talking about with some criticizing her move and actions.
The Singer says that her mom still has issues with Akothee’s dressing code but during the Watamu performance she did not utter a word.
Akothee called out her critics saying that they will also get tired and come around at some point.
In regard to the special treat with her parents, Akothee urges people to treat their parents the same way they would wish to be treated by their children.
Akothee also added that if your parents are still paying your bills at 30 then something might be wrong with you.
The Singer introduced her parents to her fans for the first time during the event that went down in Watamu.
