A popular East African artiste has gifted his wife a Sh20 million house in the United States in a bid widely seen to salvage their marriage on the rocks.

This is after the popular artiste’s younger brother, Humphrey, posted on Facebook that the Tubonge hitmaker had splashed out $200,000 (Sh20 million) to buy a house for his wife Daniella in the US.

According to Humphrey, the house is located in Atlanta, Georgia. He further claims that the house was purchased to enable the singer’s wife and kids relocate to study there.

“Congratulations bro. Proud of you bro,” Humphrey wrote on social media.

He also posted photos of Jose Chameleone together with Daniella and one of their kids standing outside a snow-covered house.

Marriage on the rocks

Last year, Chameleone posted on his Facebook page that he was ending his eight-year marriage with Daniella. He also said he would be single but not searching.

Not long ago, Daniella filed for a divorce accusing Chameleone of cruelty.
