World Bank Donates two cars to  Kilifi County to boost outreach in health sector

The World Bank has donated two brand new  cars to  Kilifi County to boost outreach in health sector.

The CEC Hon Dr Anisa Omar and Chief Officer Of Medical Services Dr Bilali Mazoya yesterday received the  two motor vehicles from Toyota Kenya.

The Heads of department decided that the cars will go to Ganze and Magharini for supportive supervision.

Kilifi County residents have been raising complaints  saying that the County Government seems to have abandoned the health sector and there has been less development.

However this seems to have  partly changed the narrative as some residents  have shows appreciation  for this donation that will be useful for the execution of activities in the health sector.

Last month the CEC ordered the subcounty health management of kilifi south to conduct a baraza for public participation with presence of Chief,Ass chief Ward Administrator, Subcounty admin and MCA representative to nomimate new dispensary/health centre committees with one third gender rule, youth representation, people living with disability for gazettement.

She added that health care workers should serve the community diligently with empathy and dignity.
