KPL postpones Gor-Sofapaka match

The match pitting Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia against Sofapaka has been rescheduled by a day due to K’Ogalo’s traveling troubles from Angola.

In a post at the KPL’s Twitter handle the match which was supposed to be played on Saturday has been moved due to Gor Mahia’s travel constraints occasioned by lack of early flights out of Luanda to Nairobi.

The game which was supposed to be played in Machakos on Saturday , will now be played at the  Afraha Stadium, Nakuru on Sunday, February 17, kick off 3:00 pm.

Gor Mahia were beaten  2-1 by Petro Atletico of Angola in their second Group ‘D’ game of the CAF Confederations Cup, a match played at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in the Angolan capital Luanda Wednesday evening.

Petro, who lost their opening game to Hussein Dey of Algeria raced to a 2-0 lead through strikes from Manguxi and Tony, giving them the lead at the break.

Nicholas Kipkirui struck late, in the second half to give Kogalo a consolation, but it was an effort in futility.
