Embakasi East MP is among the Kenyan leaders who have publicly celebrated the Valentine Day.
Babu Owino showed off his wife and gave advice to lovers even at the peak of the celebrations.
The youthful MP said that men and women should not allow people to use them just for a day and lead them on to ending their long term relationships.
Valentine calls for celebration and all that the MP was asking for is for those who are celebrating to have some level of discipline and not be moved by short term pleasures.
Other government officials who have given an almost similar message is the Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who says that people should not abandon their permanent love in the name of side chics.
Sonko also insisted that people should respect the people they love.
