Martha Karua publicly declares that she will not support Ruto come 2022 general elections.
The former long-standing member of parliament for the Gichugu Constituency and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya has shown no trust to the ‘Tanga Tanga’ team for the bid of the presidency and will rather go for Raila.
Deputy president, William Ruto, who is in London was in the hot seat and was forced to let out his ‘precious’ secret on his Weston hotel land. Speaking to Stephen Sackur of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Ruto said that the Weston land was acquired illegally and that he is not the one to take the blame for he bought the property legally.
His bid for the presidential post seems to be facing blocks as days goes by. Martha Karua appeared on Ebru TV and said that the DP is unsuitable for the position. Ruto’s rivals thrive by accusing him of corruption scandals and political injustices.
Martha Karua would go for Raila if he will vie, and she said that Raila has helped in shaping the country of which Ruto has done none.
