Moses Kuria Points Finger At Duale For His Recent Parliamentary Woes!

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has not had an easy time in Parliament this week. And he now reveals that the reason behind his current qualms is Majority Leader Aden Duale.

According to Kuria, Duale is plotting behind the scenes to have him ousted from two monumental committees in the National Assembly.

Expressing his sentiments via his social media platform, Kuria posted that his counterpart is plotting vigorously to have the outspoken lawmaker ousted from the Budget and Transport committees in which he serves.

In the post, Kuria divulges that even though these are Duale’s plans, he is not authorized to do so and that the only individuals that have such powers are Chief Whip Ben Washiali and Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

Airing his displeasure, Kuria states that his troubles with Duale started way back in 2014!

According to Kuria, the main agenda behind Duale’s plot to have him ousted have been instigated by Kuria’s representation in the Building Bridges Initiative, which plans to have an inclusive opposition together with an inclusive government.

That being said, Kuria affirmed hat he duly supports the initiative, and that Duale doesn’t have to go to the media to have him ousted.

He can simply follow the right procedures to have him removed.

The vocal MP is also part of the 27-member committee that is tasked with the mandate of providing CS Matiangi with all the support he needs to implement the executive orders required by the President.

Nevertheless, he has alleged that Duale has been hampering his efforts to steer this country Kenya into a great nation.

On the other hand, Duale has accused Kuria of looking for ‘cheap publicity’ ever since the 27-member committee was formed.

That being said, Kuria has claimed that Duale is behind the strings that have led to the failure of some of his legislative proposals.

As of the moment, Duale is yet to respond to Kuria’s allegations.
