Marsabit county leaders were on Tuesday ashamed after they were served muddy water by residents protesting a decision to prioritize formation of a municipality board instead of championing access to clean water.
“Marsabit Residents Serve “High Table Dignitaries” Muddy Water In Protest Over Water Shortage In The Area”. This is the price of de-serving the deserving! The ‘good’ Senator Hargura is mesmerized, I guess, at the enlightened residents! @hassankochore @Asmali77

Senator Godana Hargura, Speaker Matthew Loltome, Karare South MCA Asunta Galgotelli among officials from the executive had gone to Karare Ward to listen to views on the formation of a municipal board. The boards are funded by the World Bank and aim to improve infrastructure in counties.
The demeaning act by a group of Karare Ward bold women mesmerized all in attendance and netizens had their say:
Would have been better news had they forced them to drink it. Now it looks like Ruto’s PhD fieldwork samples.

The next time these leaders visit Lamu, the residents should do the same. In fact they should put sea water.

They then demanded that the county stop discussion on municipal boards and instead give them clean water.
