Kuria hints out at Duale over scheme to dewhip him

The Jubilee Party is now scheming  to remove Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria  from all committees he is in leading a to new friction between Kuria and  National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale.

In a Facebook post shared on Monday, February 11, Kuria accused  Duale of scheming to have him ejected from Transport and Budget committees. He went on to challenge the Majority Leader to follow the right procedure if he wants him gone .

He wrote,”First, you are not qualified to do so. This is the work of the party through the Secretary General Raphael Tuju And Chief Whip Ben Washiali. Secondly, I have no problem being removed from the Transport and Budget Committees as long as the correct procedure is followed. Bring it on ! I serve in the committees at the pleasure of the party”.

Kuria claims that Duale’s plan to have him removed from the committees have been instigated by his presentation to the Building Bridges Initiative that calls for an inclusive government and an inclusive opposition.

“Having an inclusive government and an inclusive Opposition is an ideal I will fight for. So now my friend don’t even go to the media to remove me from committees. Follow procedure and I will leave,” Kuria further affirmed.

So now Aden Duale wants to dewhip me from the two committees that I serve in. First, you are not qualified to do so….
