Forensic examination to determine slain Wambui’s husband’s court charge

Mystery surrounding the a woman by the name Mary Wambui Kamangara whose body was found dumped in a dam in Juja over a love triangle is slowly being untangled

Homicide detectives have now taken over the investigations with sources closes to the probe revealing that detectives are yet to decide whether or not to charge Joseph Kori, Mary’s husband.

Since statements from witnesses reveal that Joseph wasn’t in the house at the time of Mary’s demise, authorities are investigating whether he could have participated in other ways.

“We are waiting for the forensic examination report so that we can confirm if he participated in other ways. We will then decide whether to charge him or free him,” the officers told journalists.

 

Mary’s husband, Joseph Kori, was allegedly in Ngong at the time of his wife’s murder.

Michael Mathenge, a taxi driver who was allegedly hired by Judy, turned the heat on mistress Judy Wangui after he told police that the murder suspect blackmailed him into helping her dispose of Mary’s body.

After loading the body into a white Mercedes Benz, they reportedly left the premises in separate cars, heading for a dam in Ruiru where they dumped the body.

They drove to Kiamaiko in Githunguri and abandoned the Mercedes then drove back to Fourways in Mathenge’s black Toyota Voxy.

Both Judy and Mathenge will be arraigned in court on Wednesday to face murder charges.
