“I grew up knowing violence,” Arrow Bwoy shares

Kenyan dancehall artist, Ali Yusuf aka Arrow Boy, only sings love songs for he grew in a conflict environment.

Speaking on Radio Jambo, Arrow boy shared his childhood experience of love. He was born in Uganda and raised in Huruma in Nairobi. He said that he is a last born in a family of five, and his father would beat his mother in front of them.

Having established himself as a Nairobi artist, he said that he forgave his father and they sometimes do talk.

He left Kaka Empire some few weeks ago and is yet to drop hit songs in 2019.

“I only sing love songs because the language I grew up with was violence. I love hard and I express it in my music. Watch out for me in 2019.” said the ‘digi digi’ hitmaker.
