Former Machakos Gubernatorial Candidate Wavinya Ndeti and Marathon legend Paul Tergat who landed government jobs in a recent Kenya Gazette Issue.
Wavinya has been appointed to chair the Governing Council of Kenya Water Institute, for a period of three years while fellow politician Kalembe Ndile has joined the Tanathi Water Works Development Agency board.

Wavinya Ndeti lost to Governor Alfred Mutua and contested his win but the Supreme Court upheld the election of the Governor Mutua.
She petitioned at the courts but the supreme court upheld the election of the governor Mutua.
Tergat, the first Kenyan to win the World Cross Country Championship title in five consecutive years (1995-1999), has been appointed to chair the Kenya Academy of Sports Council.
According to a special issue of The Kenya Gazette, he will be at the helm of the council for the next three years.
The marathoner’s female counterpart Katherine Ndereba has also been appointed as a member of the academy’s governing council.
