It seems not many people are happy with the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the election of Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti.
The court in unanimity upheld Awiti’s win despite earlier rulings by the High Court and the Appellate Court to nullify his win and order a fresh election. The ruling has angered most Kenyans with some people arguing that the court is corrupt.
And the ODM Party found itself on the receiving end of the wrath of KoT after Tweeting a congratulation message to the embattled governor.
“We congratulate H.E. Cyprian Awiti, the Gvn of the great County of Homabay on the landmark decision by the Supreme Court to uphold his election of August 8th 2017. The ruling is victory for the Gvn & the people of HBC & he can now settle down & deliver on his election promises.” ODM Posted on their Twitter Handle.
But this backfired very fast as netizens took turns to criticize the party and the Supreme court.

Awiti is a governor of ODM, not Homa Bay, kindly do not associate Homa Bay with mediocre people like Awiti
