The ghost of sending romantic messages to a wrong recipient has come to haunt youthful Nandi Governor Stephen Sang six months later after the incident. During a press briefing on Wednesday, February 6, Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga mockingly asked Sang to focus on sending more love messages and his county affairs.

The youthful governor politician recently found himself in a tricky situation after sending a romance-induced message to a wrong WhatsApp group. Taking a swipe at the Jubilee politician, Wanga claimed Sang needed to stop attacking his Mombasa counterpart Ali Hassan Joho saying the two governors are two worlds apart.

“He has no development track record on the ground. Before he imagines he is in the same league with Joho, let him go and sort out Nandi county and deal with love messages he is sending aimlessly in WhatsApp groups,” she stated.

This was after Sang threatened to furnish investigating agencies with evidence linking the ODM deputy party boss to drug business in the coast town, Joho has denied this. “I want to urge Kenyans, when Joho lands in your place, you must hide your children. Otherwise you will lose them to the mess (drug menace) Joho has created in this country,” he claimed. Sang, MPs Oscar Sudi, Kimani Ichung’wah and Dismus Barasa have since been sued for slander.
