The Premier League giants face a striker crisis as PSG eye Willian and Hazard’s transfer is in the balance.

Paris Saint-Germain wanted to bring the Brazilian ace in on deadline day last month but the move failed to materialize.

The Brazilian, 30, was looking at a switch to Real Madrid after the World Cup – along with Eden Hazard. But the Spanish giants did not make a serious move and instead signed his team-mate and Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois.

The Blues signed Willian from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala for £30million back in 2013 – nicking him from their London equals Tottenham.

He now has scored three goals and set up four more in the Premier League this season.

LOSING THE WILL

Willian who has 18 months to run on his Blues deal, ideally wants a long-term deal at Chelsea, but they are cautious about giving the 30-year-old more than a 12-month extension which could prove a stumbling block over his future and thus may decide to sell rather than allow the player to run down his deal.

It means the Blues could end up losing both Willian and star man Eden Hazard this summer, with the brilliant Belgian a £100m target for European Champions Real Madrid.

Hazard confirmed this week that he had made up his mind on his future, which was a clear hint this will be his final season at Chelsea. However, Real Madrid is yet to make a formal offer despite keeping track of the Chelsea No10 for several transfer windows.

Meanwhile, Hazard’s dream of joining La Liga giants Real Madrid move could be ruined since Madrid has also been heavily linked with PSG star Neymar, and it is insane to imagine them landing both the former Barcelona ace and Hazard.

But Hazard hopes he remains their key target as it is clear that the Berbabeu is his preferred destination if he does quit Stamford this summer.
