ODM Battalion Led by Commander Joho Now Ready Their Weapons Against Kalonzo’s Wiper

Who will carry the day in the Embakasi By-Elections? This is the question many people have been asking even as political pundits insinuate that there will be a gruesome political battle between two of NASA’s coalitions partners; ODM and Wiper.

ODM, a party majorly seen by NASA coalition partners as a Political bully has time and again insisted that the Vacant Embakasi South Parlaimentary seat belongs to it after it’s candidate Irshad Sumra successfully challenged the election of Wiper’s Julius Mawate.

ODM had even asked Wiper to keep off the polls but a bullish Wiper went on and fielded Julius Mawathe to square it off with Irshad Sumra.

This set the tone for a political showdown and with Jubilee not having any candidate in the race, it is expected to be a supremacy battle between Raila’s ODM and Kalonzo’s Wipere.

Mombasa Governor and ODM Deputy Party Leader Ali Hassan Joho has now told Wiper Party to prepare for a bruising battle in the upcoming by-election.

This even as the Mombasa Governor accused Deputy President William Ruto of sponsoring attacks against him by rebel ODM MPs facing ouster from the party.

“We have a right to support our candidate in ODM and that is what we shall do. We shall be here to ensure we support Sumra until he wins this seat to help the people of Embakasi South,” Joho said.

The governor led ODM politicians in accompanying Sumra,to presented his nomination papers to IEBC at Anniversary Towers for the April 5 election.

Also in the race are KANU’s Jafferson Kasungu and KNC’s Rashid Minyong’a.
