Netflix and Chill?? 7 movies perfect for Valentine’s

Once again it’s that time of the year, where romance fills the air and all couples come out from nowhere to celebrate the day of love on the 14th of February, courtesy of Saint Valentine.

Romance was clearly not made for everybody; and it shows. From dates which flop, to marriage proposals being rejected and even the most common switching off of phones to avoid contact with partners for those who are dating, Valentine’s day proves to be successful only for the chosen few.

But it does not have to be a successful day in the romantic gestures requiring money only. There are lots of ways to make the best out of Valentine’s day, without focusing on just romanticism through gifts.

This year Valentine’s day falls on a Thursday, meaning majority of Kenyans will be spending the better part of the day at work. However, for some, Valentines day is a special day to remind those whom they love of their feelings towards them.

Most people have just come out of their Njaanuary misery, and are therefore looking to spend less amount of  money through this period. It would be convenient to just have a simple Netflix and chill moment with your partner for Valentine’s to enjoy their company and it would still work.

This also applies to people who have no significant partners and would rather send their time with their close friends, as Valentine’s also happens to be a day to spread love among friends and family.
