How police are using NTSA & Safaricom to nab owners of Makueni 3m worth bhang

So the dusit D2 complex attack was orchestrated by men who drove in by a famous vehicle that has since been trending over its wherebouts in the investigation process.Several officials at the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) were recently arrested in an investigation on the registration of the vehicle.

Soon after the police raid on NTSA, another a Toyota saloon car designed to carry a large capacity of narcotics has taken investigators back to NTSA after Emali police seized bhang worth 3m on transit from Nairobi to Mombasa.

Makueni Administration Police Commander Joseph Ole Naipeiyan said the bhang was confiscated past Emali town after the occupants of vehicle refused to stop when they were flagged down by police patrolling the highway.“Emali police were carrying out daily patrols along the busy highway when they noticed a suspecting vehicle.

They stopped it but the driver sped off approaching Mombasa direction, something that prompted police to chase them,” said Naipeiyan.

He disclosed that after a 5-kilometer chase, the occupants of the car abandoned it besides the highway and fled.Police have since launched a manhunt for the three escaping suspects.

The vehicle has been towed to Emali Police Station with immediate search for the owner of the vehicle from National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) commencing.

However, a mobile phone found in the car will be handed over to Safaricom to enable retrieval of the call data register, according to the police boss.

“We will make a search with NTSA of the rightful owner of the car. As for the phone, we will give it to Safaricom to retrieve the call data register”, he added.
